This release introduces bulk actions for recipe validation and deletion, as well as recipe-type specific validation rules including distribution set assignment and customizable metadata validation. It also includes improvements to system deletion reporting and actuator health endpoint reliability, and fixes several UI bugs.
New features
Recipe bulk actions for validation and deletion
- ROLEX-2060: Extend recipe API to perform recipe bulk deletion and validation.
- ROLEX-2060: Extend recipe UI to allow bulk deletion of recipes.
- ROLEX-2060: Extend recipe UI to allow bulk validation of recipes.
Recipe-type specific validation rules
- ROLEX-2015: Introduce a
distribution set assignmentvalidator for recipe types, ensuring that all module update definitions of an updatable module type have a distribution set assigned. Updatable module types that should not be updated with recipes of this recipe type need to be added to the exclusion list. - ROLEX-2092: Add a read-only view of the
distribution set assignmentvalidator to the recipe types UI. - ROLEX-2020: Migrate the
metadatavalidator from the tenant to the recipe type scope, allowing you to specify optional and mandatory metadata keys, as well as a regular expression (RegEx) to validate the metadata values. If configured, only the specified keys are allowed; otherwise, arbitrary metadata keys and values are permitted. You can specify four different metadata validators: recipe, system distribution set, module update definition with and without a distribution set. - ROLEX-2020: Add the
metadatavalidator to the recipe types UI.
Improvements
- ROLEX-2054: Improve the reliability of the actuator health endpoint's up-status for SLA monitoring.
- ROLEX-2060: Extend the delete systems API by providing a report about deleted items and where deletion failed, including a reason for the failure in the response.
Bugs fixed
- ROLEX-2090: Fix the recipe type link in the recipe details view, which was linking to the recipe type list instead of the recipe type details.
- ROLEX-2087: Fix an issue where module update definitions for updatable module types could not be created or updated without referencing a distribution set.
